Are you willing to help those
bound by alcoholism and substance abuse?

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ with a heart burdened for those struggling with alcoholism and/or substance abuse, prayerfully consider launching a weekly addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention support group in your home, office, or church.

 

You need not be an authority on the subject of addiction.  My biblically-based program manual will provide you with the information you need. Simply follow the weekly lesson plans and, by God’s grace, you will begin changing lives for the better.

 

As I said, you need not be an experienced substance abuse counsellor, but you are expected to be a born-again believer in our Lord Jesus Christ.  If you love Jesus, love your neighbors, trust in the Bible’s authority, and have been forgiven of your sins, you are likely qualified to lead a weekly support group. 

 

I am offering the program materials free of charge, so you need not worry about costs or incurring expenses, but you will be expected to offer hospitality at your home or in a church classroom.  And you will be expected to approach your responsibilities with diligence. 

 

What I am offering is not the typical Alcoholics Anonymous routine.  This is a Christ-centered addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention program.  We will not be invoking an unnamed “higher power.”  We will lead them to Jesus—the Ultimate Highest Power.
